Working On the Outdoor Cannabis Crop

When growing a cannabis crop it is important to work on the plants and to keep them healthy, although this will need to be done in secret. This crop is different than the one that is grown indoors or in a greenhouse; this is because nature will do most of the work. The largest thing that is required is to choose the right location that will get will get the proper amount of sun and the proper drainage.

In most cases watering is taken care of by nature, in seasons that it is not then watering will need to be done by the person growing the cannabis. If it is a drought season then water will need to be brought it for the crop. One advantage to planting outdoors is there is the possibility of planting a crop near a water source, such as a pond, creek or river. This way water does not need to be brought from home; it can be carried from the water source easily.

Nutrition is also taken care of as long as the soil is good, this can be tested using a pH testing kit prior to planting the seedlings. If the soil is not quality soil for the cannabis crop then it will need fertilizer added to ensure they grow to the optimum maturity. This can be a water-soluble plant food; outdoor plant stakes for larger plants and trees found at most stores or for seedlings there are smaller plant sticks for houseplants that can be used.
