Planting Temperatures For The Outdoor Ganja Crop
The person that finds the right location and the right soil for planting a ganja crop outdoors where nature will provide all that the plant needs, also needs to know when to plant the seedlings. It is important to know when to plant the seedlings so that they are able to grow properly. If they are planted at the wrong time it will end with the seedlings withering and dying or having a stunted growth.
When seeds are being planted in an area that has cool or even extremely cold winters the plants will need to be put into the ground after winter has pasted and there is no chance of frost. The ambient temperature should not dip below 40 or 50 degrees.
The plants that have been germinated and planted in peat pots should be moved outside slowly so they will not suffer from major shock. This can kill them or stunt their growth if moved from warm temperatures to cool temperatures to quickly. The room that they are growing in should have the temperature lowered over a few days time to allow them to adjust to cooler growing temperatures.
When the temperatures are between 40 and 50 degrees it is also wise to cover the seedlings with plastic bags to keep the cool air from affecting them until they have grown to a size where they are able to handle these types of temperatures. When the temperatures warm the bags can be removed from the seedlings.
