The Time Between Planting And Harvesting Marijuana Outdoors
Planting outdoors is different than planting indoors, the plants are not always where you can see them and that means there will be growing time while the person growing the marijuana crop is not there.
Depending on the seeds that are planted and if it is the indca seed then it will be approximately ten weeks until it is time to harvest the male plants and another three to five weeks before the female is ready for harvest.
The female will show its readiness by the change in the fine white hairs that appeared earlier, these will not be a brown or red color as the hairs have aged just as the plant has. This color means the female has matured to the point where it is ready to be harvested and dried.
If the person growing the outdoor marijuana crop needs to harvest it early the plants will not have the amount of THC present that they would if the plants had the chance to mature.
There are some factors that can increase the rate of harvest time or slow it down and the first is the amount of light the marijuana plant gets per day. Water will also play a large part and the quality of the soil the marijuana plants have been grown in outside.
When the marijuana plants are ready to harvest the resin glands on the plants will turn from the milky white color they have had while growing to a light brown color.
